The Tulu Script Committee (TSC) of Jai Tulunad (R.) Odipu Unit announced the results of the Tulu Script Examination conducted under the “Bale Tulu Lipi Kalpuga” initiative. The examination was held on 7 June 2026 at Government Higher Primary School, Adiudupi, Udupi, following a series of online Tulu script classes organised by Odipu TSC to promote Tulu script literacy. A total of 19 students appeared for the examination, which was conducted in junior and senior categories. Members of the Odipu Unit were present during the examination and supported its smooth conduct.

The results were officially announced on Sunday, 21 June 2026, at 10:00 AM. Pragathi S. Manipal, Sub-In-Charge of the Tulu Script Committee, took primary responsibility for examinations and result-related activities.

In the senior category, ShreeVidya secured first place with a perfect score of 100 out of 100, followed by Sandhya with 99 and Rakshitha with 98. In the junior category, Padmini Bhat secured first place with 99 marks, Jayakar Poojary secured second place with 96 marks, while Nayana Sadanand and Jeevika Poojary jointly secured third place with 94 marks each.

The results for the first-, second-, and third-place winners were announced publicly in a WhatsApp group, while the marks of all participants were posted on the official website, jaitulunad.in. Students were able to view their results from 23 June 2026 onwards by entering their roll number on the website.

The successful conduct of the examination and the encouraging performance of the students reflect the growing interest in learning the Tulu script and the continued efforts of Jai Tulunad (R.) Odipu Unit towards the preservation and promotion of the Tulu language and culture.
