The Jai Tulunad (R.) Odipu Unit successfully organised the Bale Tulu Lipit Pudar Bareka program at Umamaheshwara Temple, Shivapadi, Manipal, Udupi. The event, held on 15/02/2026 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, aimed to raise awareness of the Tulu script among the general public and encourage its learning and preservation.

Tulu script teachers included Santhosh N. S. Katpady (President), PrajnaShree M. Kodavoor (Secretary), and Shilpa Keshav Kodavoor (Tulu Script Committee In-Charge). Their guidance and dedication enriched the sessions and inspired participants to engage with the script.

The program was also attended by Aishwarya Shetty Innanje (Vice Secretary) and Dr Nithish S. A. Korangrapady (Vice Treasurer), both of whom lent their support to the initiative. The gathering highlighted the collective effort of the Jai Tulunad Odipu Unit in promoting cultural heritage and ensuring that the Tulu script continues to thrive among future generations.
