'Bale Tulut Pudar Bareka' Event Held at Bola Piliyuru Mahalingeshwara Temple

Karkala: The Karkala Unit of Jai Tulunad (R.) organized a unique and culturally significant event titled "Bale Tulut Pudar Bareka" (Come, Write Your Name in Tulu) on April 12, 2026. The program was hosted at the premises of the Bola Piliyuru Mahalingeshwara Temple and witnessed a grand turnout of language enthusiasts.

The event aimed to promote the Tulu script and encourage the local community to embrace their linguistic heritage. Participants of all ages were seen enthusiastically learning to write their names in the traditional Tulu script.

The members of the Karkala Unit were lauded for their seamless coordination in managing the crowd and the proceedings. Speaking on the occasion, the unit leaders extended their gratitude to the "children of Mother Tulu" for their overwhelming love and support.
