Jai Tulunad (R.) Odipu Unit released the Tuluvere Kaalakonde calendar for the year 14 April 2026 to 13 April 2027 on 15 April 2026 at 2:15 PM at Shree Krishna Mata, Odipu. The calendar was unveiled by Shiroor Mutt Swamiji, Shree Shree Shree Vedavardhana Theertha. During the event, Swamiji appreciated the efforts of organisations like Jai Tulunad in preserving the Tulu language, stating that while many people speak Tulu, only a few are aware of its script, and such initiatives are essential to safeguard the language and cultural heritage. He emphasised the need for collective support towards such activities. The calendar highlights festivals of Tulunadu and follows traditional Tulu month names, promoting cultural awareness through everyday use.

On the same occasion, prizes were distributed to the winners of the online Tulu elocution competition held on 4 April 2026 in memory of eminent Tulu scholar S. U. Paniyadi, who played a key role in bringing Tulu lipi into prominence. Jayakar Kunder Katpady secured first place, and Shruthi A. Shetty Kinnigoli secured second place, and both received their prizes from the Swamiji during the event.

The program was attended by distinguished personalities, including Shiroor Mutt representative Devaner Uday Kumar Saralattaya and Nagaraj Shettigar Indrali, Vice Treasurer of Jai Tulunad (R.) Central Committee. Members present included Santhosh N. S. Katpady, President; Ambika Rao Kannarpady, Treasurer; and Prashanth Kunjoor, social media In-Charge, who contributed to the successful organisation of the event.
