B.C. Road, September 5, 2026:

The Jai Tulunad (R.) Bantwala Unit conducted a one-day Tulu script workshop titled “Bale Tulu Lipit Pudar Bareka” as part of the “Mosaru Kudike” event organised by Hindu Dharmika Seva Samithi, B.C. Road, and Shree Raktheshwari Cricketers, B.C. Road.

The workshop was held on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at 10:00 AM, with the objective of introducing participants to the Tulu script and encouraging greater interest in learning and writing Tulu in its traditional script.

The workshop was conducted by Tulu script instructors Poornima Bantwala, Prathik Tuluve and Thrishali Kulal Navoora. The instructors guided participants through the basics of Tulu script and encouraged them to continue practising and using the script.

The programme was attended by members and office-bearers of the Jai Tulunad (R.) Bantwala Unit, including Kishore Poojary Mundli, President; Shwetha Badakabelluru, Secretary; Ranjitha Shetty, Joint Secretary; Manjunath Madhwa, Executive Committee Member; Renuka Kaniyoor, Organising Secretary; Deena, Member; and Manisha, Member.

The workshop was part of Jai Tulunad’s continued efforts to promote awareness, learning and wider use of the Tulu language and Tulu script through community-based programmes and educational activities.
