Bantwal, September 6, 2026: The Jai Tulunad (R.) Bantwala Unit conducted a one-day Tulu script workshop titled “Bale Tulu Lipit Pudar Bareka” as part of the Mosaru Kudike celebrations organised by Krishna Mandira Seva Trust (R.), Shree Krishna Janmashtami Mosaru Kudike Samithi and Shree Krishna Mathr Balaga.

The workshop was held on Sunday, September 6, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. The programme focused on introducing participants to the basics of the Tulu script and encouraging the younger generation and the community to learn, practise and preserve the traditional writing system of the Tulu language.

The workshop was conducted by Poornima Bantwala, Prathik Tuluve and Thrishali Kulal Navoora, who guided participants through the fundamentals of Tulu script writing.

The programme was attended by Kishore Poojary Mundli, President of the Jai Tulunad (R.) Bantwala Unit; Manjunath Madhwa, Executive Committee Member; Dheeraj Bantwala, Executive Committee Member; Deena, Member; and Manisha, Member.

The Jai Tulunad (R.) Bantwala Unit has been conducting Tulu script awareness and learning programmes as part of its efforts to promote the Tulu language, script and cultural heritage. Conducting the workshop alongside the traditional Mosaru Kudike celebrations provided an opportunity to connect cultural festivities with the promotion of Tulu language and script.
