Jai Tulunad Bengaluru Celebrates World Tulu Lipi Day with Revision Classes

BENGALURU, October 11, 2026: Jai Tulunad Bengaluru (R) celebrated World Tulu Lipi Day and organised Tulu script revision classes at Sri Chenna Keshava Public School, Hosarodu, Bengaluru, to promote Tulu Lipi and preserve Tulunadu’s linguistic heritage.

The programme encouraged participants, especially the younger generation, to practise and improve their knowledge of the traditional Tulu script.

Those present included Honorary Advisor Nidhish Shetty; Central Tulu Lipi Committee representative Dhananjaya Acharya; Secretary Akshay Acharya; Joint Secretary Pradeep Shetty; Joint Organising Secretary Nitesh Bangera; and Executive Committee members Prashanth M., Dhanaraj Kulal, Shashank Acharya and Ashwini Gatti, along with other members and participants.

The initiative reaffirmed Jai Tulunad Bengaluru’s commitment to promoting Tulu Lipi and passing Tulunadu’s linguistic and cultural heritage on to future generations.
