Jai Tulunad Bengaluru Promotes Tulu Script at Tulu Janapada Sambhrama 2026

BENGALURU, October 4, 2026: Jai Tulunad Bengaluru (Reg.) conducted the “Bale Tulu Lipit Pudar Bareka” campaign during Tulu Janapada Sambhrama 2026, organised by the Karnataka Tulu Sahitya Academy at Ravindra Kala Kshetra, Bengaluru.

The campaign aimed to promote awareness of the traditional Tulu script (Tulu Lipi) and encourage people, especially younger generations, to learn to read and write in their mother tongue.

Teachers Dhananjaya Acharya, Shubhakar Naik, Sharath Kodavooru and Dhanaraj Kulal supported the initiative by sharing their knowledge and guiding participants.

Through this campaign, Jai Tulunad Bengaluru reaffirmed its commitment to preserving the Tulu language, promoting Tulu Lipi and safeguarding Tulunadu’s linguistic and cultural heritage for future generations.
