JAI TULUNAD LOGO - Official

"The logo of the Jai Tulunad organization is unique, features several distinct aspects, and carries a very meaningful interpretation.

Tulunad Script: Writing 'Jai Tulunad' in the Tulu script aims to promote the Tulu script and make the world aware of it.

Sun and Crescent Moon: The sun and crescent moon present in the logo represent a traditional saying derived from Tulunad's Daiva Nudi (divine oracle), which states that: 'This Tulunad will remain eternal as long as the sun and moon exist.'

White Color: The white color of the sun and moon signifies the pure and sincere minds of the Tulu people.

Maroon / Kepula Color: The maroon (red-soil/kepula) color around the sun and moon is the symbol of Tulunad and represents its soil.

Flag Design:

Overall, the flag design in the logo denotes Tulunad and serves as its symbol.

Tricolor and Tigers:

The tricolor surrounding the maroon color represents India. The tigers on both sides of it, along with Tulu culture, symbolize the Tulu people who protect both Tulunad and India, conveying the message that we always respect and defend Tulunad and India.

The Flag within the Tricolor:

Another notable point is that the flag of Tulunad is placed inside the tricolor. This means that Tulunad is a region located within India, that India is the supreme nation for us, and that we have [great respect/love] for India..."
