Jai Tulunad (R.) Bantwala Unit Conducts One-Day Tulu Lipi Workshop at ‘Aatidonji Koota’
Bantwala, August 16, 2026: The Jai Tulunad (R.) Bantwala Unit conducted a one-day Tulu script workshop titled “Bale Thulu Lipit Pudar Bareka” as part of the “Aatidonji Koota” programme organised by Yuva Vahini (R.) Bantwala Chapter on Sunday, August 16, 2026, at 9:00 AM.
The workshop was organised with the objective of creating awareness about the Tulu script (Tulu Lipi) and encouraging participants to learn and practise writing in the traditional script.
The workshop was conducted by Tulu script teachers Chithrakshi Mugera Theggu, Poornima Bantwala, and Prathik Tuluve, who guided the participants through the fundamentals of Tulu Lipi.
The workshop was attended by Kishor Poojary Mundli (President, Jai Tulunad Bantwala Unit), Rohithakshi Ananthadi (Treasurer), Ranjitha B. Shetty (Joint Secretary), Thrishali Navoora (Joint Organising Secretary), Dheeraj Bantwala, Vinay, Vinyas, Rakshith, Manjunath and Vidyashree.
The programme provided an opportunity for participants to gain practical knowledge of Tulu Lipi while promoting greater awareness of Tulu language, script and cultural heritage. The initiative by the Jai Tulunad (R.) Bantwala Unit highlights the organisation’s efforts to encourage the preservation and wider use of the Tulu script.
