Jai TuluNad (R.) Kudla Unit Hosts Successful Tulu Script Teacher Training Workshop in Mulki

MULKI, 30 Aug 2026 — In a continued effort to propagate, preserve, and safeguard the ancient Tulu script and language, the Kudla unit of Jai Tulu Nadu (Regd.) successfully organized a special training workshop for Tulu script teachers on Sunday, August 30, 2026, at the 'Times of Kudla' office in Mulki.

Inauguration and Key Insights:

The workshop was inaugurated with the traditional lighting of the lamp by Dhananjaya Acharya, Supervisor of the Tulu Script Committee under the Jai TuluNad Central Committee. Addressing the gathering, Acharya emphasized the vital need for such training camps to take the Tulu script directly to every household.

The comprehensive training session was meticulously designed for individuals aspiring to conduct upcoming Tulu script classes.

 

Experienced educator and founding committee member Kiran Tuluve alongside Dhananjaya Acharya—provided deep insights into:

 * The origin and historical significance of the Tulu script

 * Standard writing methodologies and precise letter alignments

 * Simplified teaching techniques for future instructors
