Jai Tulunad (R.) to Set Up Mumbai Chapter: Key Decisions Taken to Launch Membership Drive and Tulu Lipi Workshops

Mumbai:

A consultative meeting of the Mumbai zone of Jai Tulunad (R.) was successfully held online via Google Meet on October 7, 2026, at 8:30 PM.

With the objective of expanding the organization's reach across the Mumbai metropolitan region and systematically promoting Tulu language, script, and cultural heritage, key resolutions were passed during the session:

Membership Drive: A comprehensive three-month outreach campaign will be conducted to connect with the Tuluva community residing across Mumbai and enroll them into the organization.

Tulu Lipi Workshops and Classes: Dedicated Tulu script learning workshops will be organized during community events across Mumbai, alongside ongoing online classes for interested learners.

Phased Chapter Formation: As per collective consensus, a central primary unit will first be set up in Mumbai. Once this foundation is established, additional local chapters will be formed across various suburbs and zones with community approval to further strengthen Jai Tulunad.
