Jai Tulunad (R.) Odipu Unit conducted the “Bale Tulu Lipit Pudar Bareka” program on 16 March 2026 at Shree Mahalingeshwara Temple, Chokkadi, Katpady. The program aimed to encourage the public to learn and appreciate the Tulu script, strengthening efforts to preserve the language and cultural identity. Participants were guided to write their names in the Tulu script, which generated interest and active participation among the local community. The session was led by Tulu script teachers Santhosh N. S. Katpady, President, and Sharath Raj Alankar, Secretary of Jai Tulunad (R.), Kudla Unit. Aishwarya Shetty Innanje, Vice Secretary, was also present and helped ensure the event ran smoothly.
