Jai Tulunad (R.) Odipu Unit conducted the “Bale Tulu Lipit Pudar Bareka” program on 21 March 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Bhagavathi Shree Durgaparameshwari Temple, Puttur, Udupi. The program aimed to promote literacy in the Tulu script and encourage public engagement with the language, supporting efforts to preserve and strengthen Tulu cultural identity. Participants enthusiastically learned how to write their names in the Tulu script, creating awareness and interest among the local community. The session was led by Tulu script teachers Santhosh N. S. Katpady, President, and Prajnashree M. Kodavoor, Secretary, who guided participants with dedication. Other members present included Veerendra Shetty Kodankoor, Vice President; Aishwarya Shetty Innanje, Vice Secretary; and Panchami Devadiga Ambalpady, Executive Committee Member, all of whom actively contributed to the event's success.
