Jai Tulunad (R.) Odipu Unit conducted the “Bale Tulu Lipit Pudar Bareka” program on 10 May 2026 at Shree Umamaheshwara Temple, Chakratheertha, Odipu. The program aimed to promote awareness of the Tulu script and encourage people to learn to read and write in Tulu, contributing to the preservation of the language and its cultural identity. The “Bale Tulu Lipit Pudar Bareka” initiative encourages people to learn to write their names in Tulu script, thereby fostering interest in the language and strengthening their connection to Tulu culture.

Participants actively engaged in the activity and showed enthusiasm for learning the script. The program was carried out with the presence and support of Santhosh N. S. Katpady, President; Veerendra Shetty Kodankoor, Vice President; Aishwarya Shetty Innanje, Vice Secretary; and Pragathi S. Manipal, Executive Committee Member, all of whom contributed to the smooth and successful conduct of the event.
