Jai Tulunad (R.) Odipu Unit, in collaboration with Genetrix Dance Crew, conducted Tulu Lipi classes as part of a summer camp for children from 16 April 2026 to 30 April 2026 at Bhargavi Complex, First Floor, Shirva, Odipu. The classes, titled “Bale Tulu Lipi Kalpuga,” meaning learning Tulu script, were held three days a week from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. The initiative aimed to introduce students to reading and writing in the Tulu script and to nurture early interest in the language and its cultural significance.

The sessions were led by Tulu script teachers Santhosh N. S. Katpady, President, and Aishwarya Shetty Innanje, Vice Secretary, who guided the children with dedication and enthusiasm. The program was well-received and served as a meaningful step towards encouraging the younger generation to learn and preserve the Tulu language and culture. The support and coordination of Genetrix Dance Crew owners Ajay and Raksha were instrumental in successfully organising and conducting the program.
