Jai Tulunad (R.) Odipu Unit conducted the “Bale Tulu Lipit Pudar Bareka” program on 23 March 2026 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Shree Kamakshi Temple, Hayagreeva Nagara, Manipal. The program aimed to raise awareness of the Tulu script and encourage people to learn to read and write in Tulu, thereby contributing to the preservation of the language and cultural heritage. Participants actively engaged in learning to write their names in the Tulu script, showing enthusiasm and interest. The session was led by Tulu script teachers Santhosh N. S. Katpady, President, and Supriya Akhilesh Devadiga Bailoor, Organising Secretary, who guided the participants effectively. Other members present included Aishwarya Shetty Innanje, Vice Secretary, along with Harshitha Prashanth Suvarna Kaup and Yogini Shettigar Korangrapady, members of Odipu Unit, who supported the smooth conduct of the program.
