A special event focused on the Tulu script and writing names in Tulu was successfully organized on August 9, 2026, by the Brahmashree Narayana Guru Samaj Seva Sangha (Reg.), Kavoor.

The program aimed to promote and create awareness about the rich heritage of the Tulu language and its native script among the public

Prominent figures and language activists actively participated in the event, including Shilpashree Tuluvedi, Chirashree Deralakatte, Chetan Anchan (vice President of the Jai Tulunad (Reg.) Kudla unit), and member Vinay Rai Kudla. Their presence and active involvement provided great encouragement to the participants and enthusiasts gathered to learn the script.

The initiative was well-received by the local community, marking another significant step toward preserving and propagating the Tulu script in the region.
