Tulu Script Workshop "Bale Tulu Lipi Kalpuga" Conducted at Kateel High School

 

KATEEL: Keeping the rich regional heritage alive, an inspiring workshop on the Tulu script titled "Bale Tulu Lipi Kalpuga" (Come, Let's Learn Tulu Script) was successfully conducted at Sri Durgaparameshwari Temple Kannada Medium High School, Kateel, on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, starting at 3:30 PM.

The initiative aimed to introduce students to the traditional Tulu script and encourage them to learn to read and write in their mother tongue.

Guest Instructors & Coordinators: The sessions were led by prominent cultural and linguistic enthusiasts, including Kiran Tuluve, Chirashree Deralakatte, Uday Poonja Tharipadigutthu, Prithvi Tuluve, Prateek Tuluve, and Prashanth Poojary Nandalike.

The interactive workshop saw enthusiastic participation from the students, who eagerly learned the basics of the script, fostering a deeper connection to regional history and literature.
